Stephen Hundley is a former high school science teacher from Savannah, Georgia. He holds degrees from Georgia College & State University (BA English) and Clemson University (MA English).

Stephen serves as the fiction editor for The Swamp literary magazine and is currently a Richard Ford Fellow at the University of Mississippi.

He was the winner of the Bondurant Prize in poetry, the Longleaf Scholarship, and the Button Fiction Spring Contest in 2019.

Stephen was a finalist for the Driftwood Press In-House Short Story Contest in 2019 and the Arts & Letters Fiction Prize in 2017.

He is seeking representation for a collection of short fiction and his first novel.

Not all of his stories are about dogs.
